The South African Football Association or SAFA is the governing body of football (soccer) in South Africa.

History

South Africa is hosting the 2010 FIFA World Cup. In April 2008, they appointed Joel Santana as the new manager of their national team.[1] However on 19 October 2009, he was relieved of his duties having lost eight of the last nine friendly matches.[2]
