South Campus Station is an LRT station under construction in south Edmonton, Alberta, Canada as part of the Edmonton Transit System's South LRT Expansion Project. As of the end of March 2007, the station platform was poured and construction had commenced on the adjoining South Campus Transit Centre.
South Campus will be located between McKernan/Belgravia Station and Southgate Station. McKernan/Belgravia is also under construction and some work is being completed on the LRT right of way between South Campus and Southgate.
When construction is complete, South Campus will be the southern terminus of the LRT line until Southgate Station and Century Park Station open in 2010.
Current plans call for both the McKernan/Belgravia and South Campus Stations to open in 2008.
The site is located near Foote Field and the Saville Centre. This is approximately two blocks to the west of site originally proposed for the station on 113 Street.
