South Lambeth is a division of the area of Lambeth, located in the northern part of the Borough of Lambeth in London, England.
South Lambeth is generally considered to cover the area around South Lambeth Road (the A203), which leads from Vauxhall to Stockwell.
South Lambeth is not an administrative area but is a neighbourhood; most residents of what is considered to be South Lambeth when asked would probably say they live in Vauxhall, Kennington, Oval or Stockwell. These areas are predominantly residential in contrast to the area formerly known as North Lambeth around Waterloo station.
Estate agents have begun to describe it as "Little Portugal" due to the growth of the local Portuguese community since about 2000.
