Biography

Sparrow House is the solo project of Jared Van Fleet, guitarist/keyboardist of Austin, TX, band Voxtrot. His soft-spoken songwriting is more comparable to Elliott Smith than the upbeat indie pop of Voxtrot. When not busy with the band, Van Fleet planned to record four EPs within a year, each one corresponding to a season. The first release, Falls (gathered from material from his honors thesis at the University of Texas), was available in March 2007. ~ Kenyon Hopkin, All Music Guide
