The Speaker of the Georgian Parliament is the Speaker of the House in the Parliament of the Republic of Georgia. The incumbent speaker is David Bakradze since June 7, 2008. Its predecessors were the National Council (May 1918 – October 1918), the Parliament (1918–1919), the Constituent Assembly (1919–1921), the Supreme Soviet of the Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic (1921–1990) and the Supreme Council of the Republic of Georgia (1990–1992).
