Today, the company produces a variety of gear, including clothing, helmets, and parts, in addition to over 25 lines of bikes. Many riders in recent years have used Specialized bicycles in the North American and European professional cycling circuit. Currently, Team Gerolsteiner and Quick Step-Innergetic are riding the Tarmac (a full carbon fiber composite road bike) in the Tour de France. Team Gerolsteiner equips their bikes with Shimano components while Quick Step-Innergetic uses Campagnolo components
Specialized has also equipped Manuel Höchbauer, the Bavarian cyclist (Team Parsberg) and champion of the German HC.
