Spongomonadea (Spongomonad) is a grouping of eukaryotes.
It has been described as a member of Reticulofilosa.[1]
It has also been described as having been transferred from Reticulofilosa to Monadofilosa.[2]
It has been grouped under Cercomonadida.[3]
