Biography

A legendary violinist and one of the fathers of European jazz, Stephan Grappelli had minimal involvement with film. He scored Bertrand Blier's Les Valseuses (1974) and also Louis Malle's Milou in Mai (1989). Grappelli died on December 1, 1997, following complications from hernia surgery.
