Stan Dragoti (born October 4, 1932 in New York, New York) is an albanian american film director, most notable for his mid-1980s comedies such as Mr. Mom and The Man With One Red Shoe.
Stan Dragoti was born in New York city of Albanian parents. Both his parents were from the village of Dragot in the county of Tepelena, south Albania. They emigrated to the USA in the late 1920s.
He was very interested in cinematography from a young age. He finished the Cooper College in New York and later the Visual Arts College. He still collaborates with his early partner Charlie Moss.
He has had tremendous success from the beginning. Most of his work exceeded $200 million revenues from the sales.[citation needed] He has produced lots of advertising for the giants of air travel and automobile industry.
