Standard Directory of Advertising Agencies

Marketing Dictionary: Standard Directory of Advertising Agencies

Companion to the Standard Directory of Advertisers and often called the Red Book, because of its red cover, the directory (which absorbed McKittrick's Directory and the Standard Advertising Register) offers profiles on advertising agencies including their location, corporate contact names, and billing information. Agency profiles include company name, address, phone and fax numbers, area of specialization, and number of employees. Published annually by the National Register Publishing Company, the directory also provides information on corporate linkages, business profiles, and account information (by company name and trade name) for the agencies and their branches, with listings of names and titles for approximately 60,000 industry executives.
