Game Description
LucasArts' Dark Forces 3D action-adventure series continues with this release of Jedi Outcast: Jedi Knight II. The game's title refers to its hero, a fallen Jedi named Katarn. Though he no longer enjoys his Jedi status, Katarn remains one with the force and has learned to make good use his special powers. As in earlier Dark Forces and Jedi Knight titles, combat is a major aspect of gameplay in this release. Players can employ an extensive arsenal of attack moves with the light saber and a fully loaded blaster takes out Stormtroopers and other enemies from a distance. The game runs on a modified version of the Quake III engine and creates fitting atmospheres with naturally curved surfaces and state-of-the-art lighting effects.~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide
