Plot

During the rescue of a group of Abydonian captives, Teal'c (Christopher Judge) has a showdown with the Goa'uld Amaunet--who is housed in the body of Sha're (Valitare Bandera), the Jaffa wife of Dr. Daniel Jackson (Michael Shanks). Unable to console himself to the fact that Teal'c is forced to kill Sha're to destroy Amaunet, Jackson resigns from the SGC.
