Stavros Niarchos III (born April 17, 1985) is a professional kiteboarder and the first of four children of Philip and Victoria Niarchos. He was born in New York City and grew up in Paris, France.

Family
Niarchos is of Greek, Irish, Austrian, and Mexican ancestry. Grandson of his namesake, the Greek shipping tycoon Stavros Niarchos, he is also a great-grandson of the socialite Gloria Guinness.[1])
Niarchos is a third cousin of Athina Onassis de Miranda, whose maternal grandmother, Tina Onassis, was Niarchos's great-aunt as well as the fifth wife of his paternal grandfather. The Aga Khan IV is his great-uncle.[1][2] His sister is the jewelry designer and socialite Eugenie Niarchos (born 1986).
Education
Stavros Niarchos was a student in the Collège Stanislas in Paris. His senior year of high school was spent at Seabury Hall, a college preparatory school located in Makawao on Maui, Hawaii, where his parents own a compound and traditionally spend Christmas.[3],[4] After high school, Niarchos attended the University of Southern California Film School, where he graduated and received his diploma in May 2007. [5]
Celebrity
A tall, athletic man, Niarchos is best-known for dating Paris Hilton, Petra Nemcova[6], Julia Restoin-Roitfeld , Mary-Kate Olsen[5] and Lindsay Lohan[7]. He also appeared with actress Kate Bosworth[5] in her January 2005 GQ magazine spread. In December 2008 he was seen with Sandy Meyer-Wölden [8], the ex-fiancée of former German tennis star Boris Becker, at a box night in Zurich, Switzerland.
