Shipowner StealthGas isn't trying to keep its business a secret: The company will tell anyone who asks that it maintains a fleet of more than 35 vessels that transport liquefied petroleum and petrochemical gas products, chiefly liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). Its ships, which have an overall carrying capacity of more than 160,000 cu. meters and are managed by affiliate Stealth Maritime, are able to transport gas in a variety of liquefied forms, including propane, butane, butadiene, isopropane, propylene, and vinyl chloride monomer. Products carried by StealthGas are used for transportation, fertilizers, plastics manufacturing, heating, and cooking; major customers include Petredec, Shell, and Vitol.
