SequenceL [1] [2] is a functional programming language developed at Texas Tech University. SequenceL is a general purpose language which is statically typed and has strict semantics. Since the language has no constructs for I/O constructs, its programs are executed either by in an interpreter, or by compilation to C++ and then linking with I/O components.
