Stephanie McLean was Penthouse Pet of the Month for April 1970, and Pet of the Year in 1971.
A model for Mayfair magazine and a Penthouse cover girl, McLean met her future husband, Barry Sheene, in 1975 while he was on crutches following a racing accident. The couple emigrated to Australia in 1990. They had 2 children together.[1]
Speaking about their time together, after Sheene's death ,she said : " The 1970s was like one long summer, we felt free. Then you wake up one morning and realize that you had a really good time then but now its all gone. But I have no regrets and don't believe Barry did. There's nothing we would have done differently."
