Biography

Stepsonday's sunny, guitar-filled pop songs are crafted by siblings Jason and Chad Turner. The brothers were born and raised in Santa Monica, CA, where they developed a soft spot for records by the Beatles, Nada Surf, and Death Cab for Cutie. With Chad handling drums and Jason alternating between guitar and bass, the two formed a pop/rock duo and entered the studio to record a self-financed debut. The resulting Little Light LP caught the attention of One Eleven Records' owner, Brad Fischetti, and Stepsonday was soon signed to the label.
