Steven Edward Sewell (born April 2, 1963 in San Francisco, California), is a former professional American football player who was selected by the Denver Broncos in the 1st round of the 1985 NFL Draft. A 6'3", 210-lb. running back from the University of Oklahoma, Sewell played his entire NFL career for the Broncos from 1985 to 1991. Sewell is now the running-back coach for CSU - Pueblo Thunderwolves in Colorado.

Sewell appeared in 3 Super Bowls for the Broncos. He threw a 23-yard touchdown pass to John Elway in a regular season game in 1986.

Sewell attended Riordan High School in San Francisco, California and was a student and a letterman in football.
