Stilfs (Italian: Stelvio; German: Stilfs; Archaic (1290AD): Stilfes; Archaic (1090AD): Stilvis) is a comune (municipality) in the province of Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region of Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol. It is located near the northern ramp of the Stelvio Pass.
According to the 2001 census, 97.66% of the population speak German, 2.26% Italian and 0.08% Ladin as first language.[1]
The municipality of Stilfs contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Sulden (Solda).
