The world's most popular sport is now a turn-based strategy game in this unusual release from Sony Pictures Digital. Players move each individual athlete or character on their fictitious team across a field composed of squares. The number squares an athlete can cover is dictated by his speed rating, while the success rate of actions such as passes or shots on goal are influenced by statistics in the four areas of attack, skill, defense, head, and pass. After players position each athlete on their team, the computer begins its turn and tries to either move the ball up the field or prevent a goal. Each athlete also possesses distinct abilities that can spell the difference between victory and defeat.
