Plot
Based on Sara Flanigan Carter's semi-autobiographical novel, the made-for-cable Sudie and Simpson is about a White 12-year-old girl called Sudie who becomes friends with a shy, lonely Black adult named Simpson who has been ostracized from their rural Georgia town.
