- 1997-10-01 Opened
- 2005-03-02 Collision occurred. Sukumo - Nakamura closed temporary.
- 2005-04-07 Higashi-Sukumo - Nakamura reopened (only local trains)
- 2005-06-13 Higashi-Sukumo - Nakamura reopened (limited express and local trains)
- 2005-11-01 All line (Sukumo - Nakamura) reopened.
