Sulaiman Range

 
 

Mountain range in west-central Pakistan. Lying west of the Indus River, it extends north-south about 280 mi (450 km), with summits averaging 6,000 – 7,000 ft (1,800 – 2,100 m). The highest peaks, at the northern end, are the twin peaks called Solomon's Throne (Takht-i-Sulaiman). The higher of the two, at 18,481 ft (5,633 m), is the site of a popular shrine.
