Sunan Abu Dawood (Arabic: سنن أبي داود) is one of the Sunni Six Major Hadith collections, collected by Abu Dawood.
Description
Abu Dawood declared some of Hadiths in his book to be unauthentic, which makes his book different from Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. The author collected 50,000 hadith, but included only 4,800 in this collection. Sunnis regard this collection as fourth in strength of their Six major Hadith collections[1].
