Ten tracks, generic title, thoughtless artwork -- Super Hits looks like a budget compilation aimed at casual Cypress Hill fans, and that is its function, chronologically rolling through ten of the group's most notable tracks from 1991's Cypress Hill through 2004's Till Death Do Us Part. Of course, it couldn't possibly hit all the highlights, not when it picks from seven albums, but "How I Could Just Kill a Man," "Latin Lingo," "Insane in the Brain," and "We Ain't Goin' Out Like That" -- all tracks that helped make the group one of the biggest in the '90s rap field -- do make the set worthwhile for those who don't want to pick up any of the proper albums. The biggest hit not included is "Hand on the Pump," a classic that narrowly missed the top spot on Billboard's Hot Rap Singles chart in 1992. ~ Andy Kellman, All Music GuideTracks
