Game Description
Based on the Pitfall! series that debuted on the Atari 2600, Super Pitfall finds intrepid explorer Harry on a perilous quest to retrieve the legendary Raj Diamond, his kidnapped niece, and his captured lion friend from deep within the Andes. Like Pitfall II, the non-linear action involves progressing through a subterranean cave filled with tarantulas, scorpions, snakes, bats, frogs, and other creatures. To help neutralize his foes, a pith helmet-wearing Harry now carries a pistol. He'll climb, swim, jump, and shoot his way through more than 270 screens, all while avoiding dangers such as falling rocks, lava pits, waterfalls, and spikes.
