Super Regional Bank

Bank holding company operating subsidiary banks in two or more states. The American Banker, a daily newspaper, defines a super-regional bank as a non-Money Center Bank ranking in the top 100 banking companies in the United States that has merged across state lines to establish a full commercial banking presence in another state.
