Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act (SARA)

Law that confirmed the continued existence of Superfund. SARA put more teeth into Cercla though SARA provides an innocent landowner defense, for a buyer who conducted a Phase I environmental study before the acquisition, with negative results.
