Susan Sheridan (born 1947[1]) is a British actress most widely known for her voice work, particularly the roles of Trillian in the radio series The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Princess Eilonwy in the animated film The Black Cauldron. She has also provided voices for many child characters, including Noddy in the Cosgrove Hall/BBC Television adaptation of Enid Blyton's children's stories; all the females, apart from Miss Battle-Axe, in Horrid Henry; all the females in The Animal Shelf; the young David in the BBC radio adaptation of John Wyndham's The Chrysalids; and Moomin in animated cartoon of the same name. Other adult characters she has given voice to include Milady in Albert the Fifth Musketeer.[2]
