Susanna Moore
Susanna Moore (born 1945) is an American writer. She has written eight books — three novels that make up a Hawaiian trilogy; a travel book; a novel about a murder in New York; a novel set in 19th-century India; her memoir; and a novel that will be published in 2007.
Moore grew up in Hawaii, and her memoir is entitled I Myself Have Seen It: The Myth of Hawai'i.
She received the 1999 Academy Award in Literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
