Suzanne Rouvier Day

Day, Suzanne R[ouvier] (1890-1964), playwright and novelist. Born in Cork, she began writing plays for the Abbey Theatre with her friend Geraldine Cummins, with whom she produced Broken Faith (1913) and Fox and Geese (1917). In 1916 she published a novel, The Amazing Philanthropists, and went to France as a nurse at the Front, an experience that formed the basis of Round About Bar-le-Duc (1918).
