Sweet Trip is an experimental ambient pop/shoegaze act from San Francisco, California.
The group was formed in 1998, and its mastermind is producer and songwriter, Roberto Burgos. Since its inception the band has released two full-length recordings with Darla Records, namely 1999's Halica and 2003's Velocity:Design:Comfort.
Labelmates Junior Varsity KM — whom Burgos has done several remixes for — has toured with Sweet Trip on several occasions. Other notable outfits Burgos has done remixes for include Takako Minekawa and Gnac.
