Review

This is a must for percussionists and percussion-addicts: beautifully recorded drumming from a major tradition. . Tabala Wolof, the ritual drumming of the Sufi khadriya order, is a wonderful example of Afro-Muslim syncretism. One kvetch: such a fine recording could have used fuller notes. ~ John Storm Roberts, Original Music, All Music Guide
