Review

James Carr's comeback, on a resurrected Goldwax label. It doesn't quite live up to his '60s stuff -- maybe nothing could -- but it is good, contemporary Southern soul in the classic vein, and it's great to have him back. ~ Christine Ohlman, All Music Guide
