Taluqa (Hindi: तालुक़ा, Urdu: تعلُقہ) or taluka, also called a taluq or taluk (Hindi: तालुक़, Urdu: تعلُق), is an administrative division in India and Pakistan. A district contains many talukas, which are also called tehsil or mandal in the Indian subcontinent.
