Tanaelv (tä'näĕlv'), Finn. Tenojoki, river, 205 mi (330 km) long, rising in Finnmark co., N Norway, and flowing NE to Tanafjord, NE Norway. It forms part of the Norway-Finland border. The river is noted for its salmon.
