Tangerine is a shade of orange that resembles the the average color of the tangerine fruit, although some tangerines are colored a color somewhere between this color and tangelo.
There is also a version of yellow sometimes called tangerine-yellow that is close to the color school bus yellow, although there is no such thing as a yellow tangerine in nature.
Tangerine in human culture
