Tango

Review

After the failure of the collaboration work with Spinetta, Charly García met Pedro Aznar in New York. Both former members of Serú Girán, the duo created a short album of six songs originally released in 1986. Despite the title, you won't find any tango flavor. The album was clearly influenced by new wave's sound. There are strong songs like "Angeles y Predicadores," "Hablando a Tu Corazón" and specially "Pasajera en Trance." Although not essential, Tango deserves several listenings. ~ Iván Adaime, All Music Guide
