Biography

One of the many projects by experimental Australian guitarist/bassist/keyboardist Julian Curwin, Tango Saloon combines two of his favorite styles, tango and Ennio Morricone-inspired spaghetti Western soundtracks, and 14 other musicians from Australia's experimental scene into one improv-driven group. With a home base in Sydney, Tango Saloon, who often performed with rotating guest vocalists, released their self-titled debut on the eclectic Ipecac Records in 2006. ~ Marisa Brown, All Music Guide
