Plot
In this made-for-TV suspense story, Dana Lazlo (Rosanna Arquette) is an actress who is struggling to put her life back together after a near fatal accident. Hoping to follow a new path, Dana and her partner Carl Kreiger (Jurgen Prochnow) decide to start a new business, and Dana sees this as an ideal opportunity to reacquaint herself with her daughter Traci (Mandy Schaffer), who has spent the past three years in a boarding school. Dana discovers that Traci has blossomed into a willful and sexually outgoing teenager, and while Dana is happy to have a closer relationship with Traci, she also finds her daughter to be more than a bit possessive. A number of Dana's close friends begin dying under circumstances that hardly seem coincidental, and Dana begins to suspect her daughter may have a gruesome plan to hold on to her mother's affection. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide
