Technium CAST
Technium CAST is a building of the Welsh Technium Network, located in picturesque North Wales at the foot of glorious
Snowdonia and on the shores of the Menai Strait. CAST incubates software companies of all sizes, and also has links to the
research and expertise offered by the School of Computer Science, at the University of Wales, Bangor.
CAST itself offers international Centres of Excellence in visualization technology and telecommunications, while offering knowledge transfer to business in the areas of business systems, e-learning, bilingual technology and systems testing.
Technium CAST houses software companies of varying sizes - from those with hundreds of employees, to those who occupy as little as a single desk. Facilities include a Fakespace Sony 4K Power Wall, IP based video conferencing facilities, and an events venue capable of hosting up to 250 guests.
