When the name Ted McCord shows up as a credit on a recording, it is most often in reference to the reed player of that name, active in the '20s and '30s and sometimes credited as Theodore McCord. This individual should not be confused with cinematographer Ted McCord; obviously, whatever that accomplished Hollywood artist sees through his camera can have the tendancy to show up in the form of a photograph on an album cover or in a CD booklet, sometimes even in tandem with a credit.
