Teleperformance USA, a regional unit of French telemarketing giant Teleperformance, provides inbound and outbound contact center outsourcing and global customer relationship management (CRM) services. The company maintains about 40 call centers in the US and oversees another dozen facilities in other countries that serve the US market. Customers come from industries such as automotive, financial services, insurance, Internet access, technology, and telecommunications. An affiliate, Americall, specializes in outbound teleservices for financial services and insurance companies. CEO Dominic Dato established Teleperformance USA in 1993.

Teleperformance (TP) (Euronext Code 5180) is an international corporation which was founded in Paris, France in 1978 by Daniel Julien. Teleperformance provides customer service, technical support, and sales call center outsourcing as well as worldwide outsourcing services. Headquartered in Paris, Teleperformance has call centers worldwide in North America, South America, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Australia. It operates 249 contact centers in 47 countries. ==History==

Teleperformance was initially founded in Paris, by Daniel Julien.[1] In 1986, its first international subsidiaries were also formed, in Belgium and Italy.[1]

Between 1986 and 1987, working with Jacques Berrebi[3] and Christophe Allard,[4] SR. communication is founded.

Teleperformance Austria,[5] and other European Markets (Including Germany,[6] Sweden,[7] and the United Kingdom.[8] were then founded, in 1988.

Later, in 1993, Teleperformance USA was founded,[9] which would then merge with Calltech Communications in 2002.[10]

  • 1996 - 1998: Development of contact center activities in the Asia-Pacific region with the establishment of operations in Australia,[11] Philippines,[12] Singapore[13] and South Korea.[14] Stronger presence in Europe with multiple acquisitions, or start-ups in Switzerland,[15] Norway,[16] Denmark,[17] Greece,[18] Spain,[19] the Netherlands[20] and Finland.[21]
  • 1999-2002: SR. Communication and Teleperformance merge to create SR. Teleperformance. SR.Teleperformance develops Technical Assistance solutions and launches the TechCity Solutions brand[22] in parallel. Extension of the contact center network throughout the Americas, into Argentina,[23] Brazil,[24] Mexico [25] and Canada.[26]
  • 2005: SR. Teleperformance achieved over a billion Euro revenues[27] (1.19 billion € in revenues)
  • 2006: SR. Teleperformance continues to expand into eastern regions with the acquisition of Teleperformance Russia[28] and Teleperformance China.[29] SR. Teleperformance becomes Teleperformance. Teleperformance completes the re-launch of the Global Portal website along with 12

individual country sites.

  • 2007: Teleperformance acquires twenty4help Knowledge Service AG to expand on their commitment to the technical support / help desk arena in the EU.[30] Teleperformance acquires AllianceOne, a leading Accounts Receivable Management company in the US.[31]
  • 3/20/2009: Teleperformance acquires Dell Pasay for undisclosed amount including all the Dell Facilities.
