Refers to a widow game found exclusively in private and home games in which each player receives five down cards, and there are five down cards dealt as community cards. A round of betting occurs, followed by the dealer turning up each board card, one at a time, with a round of betting following each turn. The lowest card in a player’s hand is wild, so they can use the best five-card combination from their five down cards and the community cards to make the best hand.
SoundPoker Says: This is very similar to Cincinnati, the difference being that in the latter the lowest card in the widow is wild, as well as any card of equal rank in a player's hand. With so many cards available to make a hand, as well as the availability of a wild card, monster hands are quite frequent in telephone.
