Tempest 3000

Game Description

The early-'80s coin-op classic moves to the NUON-enhanced DVD players with Tempest 3000. As in earlier versions of Tempest, players revolve a cursor around the outer edge of a vector graphics-like "tunnel," blasting down enemies as they approach from within. Digital artist Jeff Minter, of Tempest 2000 fame, coordinated this fusion of contemporary music and psychedelic plasma graphics. This 2000 release offers extras like new game levels, new weapons, new enemies, and a techno soundtrack to enhance the frantic button-smashing gameplay.
