Future

The TER Alsace continues its development. The next stage will be the opening of the LGV Est Européen (LGV East European), which will set in effect a complete revision of the timetables, to allow connections between the TGV and the regional network.

At the same time, the region is currently putting in place !Alséo!, a magnetic card allowing access to the urban transport networks of Strasbourg, Colmar and Mulhouse, but also the TER network.

Also, two projects Tram-Train are being considered. That of the Thur valley between Mulhouse and Thann (the trams have already been ordered) and that of the "Piemont des Vosges" between Strasbourg, Molsheim and Barr.
