Teresa "Teri" Susan Weigel (born February 24, 1962) is an American pornographic actress and Playboy Playmate.

Early life

Weigel was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida^[2] and grew up in Deerfield Beach, Florida.^[3] She began modeling while in her teens, appearing in the Saks Fifth Avenue catalog among other venues.^[3]

Career

She first appeared on the cover of the November 1985 issue of Playboy, and then was the Playboy Playmate for April 1986. Weigel also appeared in a number of Playboy videos. She subsequently had several minor roles in mainstream film, including Predator 2 and Marked for Death, and made several appearances as "Jade" on Married... with Children. She was also the second Playmate to go on to appear in Penthouse magazine, after Ursula Buchfellner, November 1985.^[4]She also worked for a time at the Bunny Ranch ending in September 1998.^[5]

Weigel was in a severe car accident in August 1990, where she suffered severe neck and back injuries which required five rounds of operations;^[6] about the same time, Weigel and Playboy became estranged over business matters. The result was Weigel went broke, was forced to sell her home and move into an apartment.^[7]

Weigel turned to adult films as a means to earn money, and her entry into the field was assisted by her apartment neighbours, who produced adult films.^[7] Her first film was Inferno in 1991, where she costarred with Marc Wallice.^[6] As a result, Weigel was blacklisted from Playboy; in 2000, Playboy sued Weigel for her use of the Playboy logo on her website.^[6]

In 2005, Weigel was one of many porn actors inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame at the AVN Awards, the major industry awards show held annually in Las Vegas.

As of September 2009, Weigel was working as a Bikini Girl on fishing charter boats out of Fort Pierce, Florida.^[8]

Personal life

She married Murrill Maglio in December 1986.^[7]
