Texas Army

 

The army of the Texas War of Independence, led by Sam Houston, that defeated Antonio López de Santa Anna at the Battle of San Jacinto in April 1836. The battle lasted only twenty minutes, but the Mexicans lost 630 men and 730 were taken prisoner.
