About 40 designers and craftspeople founded this Swedish association in order to establish direct links with consumers through their showroom and shop in Stockholm. Each member was involved with the running and promotion of the shop and its products, having an opportunity to exhibit their work during the year. Slides of members' work were also available for viewing. Members paid an annual fee and a set commission on work sold that was reinvested in the business. Many contacts were made with manufacturers and interior designers and their work has been exhibited throughout Scandinavia, Europe, and the United States.
