The Anderson Independent-Mail, known as Independent Mail, is the local newspaper for Anderson County in the state of South Carolina, published by the Independent Publishing Co., a division of the E. W. Scripps Company. The paper is one of the only daily papers in South Carolina to be published in the Berliner format. Based in the city of Anderson, South Carolina, it is the staple for news, competing only with The Greenville Times of Greenville, South Carolina.
